AAS hosts “Publishers Without Borders” (PwB) volunteers: Fiona Macnab and Louise Phillips

The Annals of African surgery was privileged to host its most recent Elsevier Foundation “Publishers Without Borders” (PwB) volunteers, Fiona Macnab and Louise Phillips, as part of the initiative by the African Journal Partnership Program (AJPP) to link developing African journals with experienced volunteers.

The experienced team working hand in hand with the editorial team in organising an authorship workshop held at the University of Nairobi, School of Medicine.

They have been instrumental in developing a business model as well as revamp the journal’s communication strategy and visibility by incorporating social media tools.
