AAS Editor-in-Chief discusses the challenges of sustaining a journal at the 2018 Kenya Ear Nose and

Dr James Kigera the Annals of African Surgery EIC made a presentation on the challenges of sustaining a journal at the 2018 Kenya Ear Nose and Throat Society conference at the Sarova Woodlands Hotel in Nakuru on Saturday 19th May 2018. In his talk, he discussed the journey of the Annals of African Surgery highlighting its successes and challenges.

He emphasized on the involvement of all stakeholders to make a successful journal. The discussion after the presentation included the issues of motivating surgeons to publish and how the AAS can assist in training surgeons who would like to start the journey in publishing.
