The New Assistant Editors

We are glad to welcome two members into the Annals of African Surgery editorial team as assistant editors, Dr Mumba Chalwe from Zambia and Dr Jameel Ahmad from Nigeria.

Dr Mumba is a Urologist at The Ndola Teaching Hospital with special interest in reconstructive Urology and is passionate about writing. She is an avid advocate for advancement of modern surgical practice in Africa.

Dr Jameel is a Consultant Cardio- thoracic Surgeon at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital and a Senior Lecturer, Department of Surgery at Bayero University Kano with interests in Surgical research, innovation and medical entrepreneurship.

We look forward to working with them in the advancement of the Annals of African Surgery as a premier journal in Africa.
