NEW ASSISTANT EDITOR

The Annals of African Surgery is thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr. Cecilia Munguti as an Assistant Editor.

Dr. Munguti is a General Surgeon and Lecturer at Mount Kenya University, Medical School. Her interests include gastrointestinal surgery (bariatric, upper gastrointestinal, and colorectal surgery), basic sciences, and clinical research.

She previously served as an editorial apprentice in our journal, and we are excited to welcome her to the editorial team in this new role.
