Mrs. Dali Mwagore joins the AAS editorial team as a Guest Copy Editor.



Dali Mwagore has over 25 years of experience in information, communication and knowledge management for development. She is a skilled written, electronic and oral communicator, with proven research and editing skills. She worked for 9 years at the The World Agroforestry Centre where she edited extension and research publications and managed the production of the Centre’s flagship publication, Agroforestry. Today. Between 2002 and 2014 she was managing editor of Pachyderm, a peer-reviewed journal of the IUCN. Dali has excellent training and facilitation skills in science communications with a good understanding of constraints faced in writing in English as a second language. Dali trains in scientific communication and publishing at the Training Centre for Communications at the University of Nairobi in Chiromo.

Dali has produced a wide range of materials for the following organizations she regularly works for: Kenya’s Ministry of Agriculture, IUCN, AMREF (now AMREF International University), the International Centre for Forestry Research (CIFOR), 3R Kenya Project, the African Conservation Agriculture Network (ACT), African Rural and Agricultural Credit Association (AFRACA), the Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in Eastern Africa (ASARECA),and IFAD’s Knowledge Management Project.
