SSK President promises to see AAS publish 4 Issues annually


During the recently concluded 17th Annual Surgical society of Kenya (SSK) Scientific conference and Annual General Meeting held at the Acacia Premier Hotel, Kisumu; the newly appointed president, Dr. Peter Nthumba promised to support the Annals of African surgery and ensure an increase in number of issues published annually.

He is a Plastic, Reconstructive, and Hand Surgeon as well as a scientist. As he gave the presidential address, he encouraged members to disseminate their research findings adding that AAS provides a platform for that. He promised to have the journal publish 4 issues annually (twice as many as it publishes currently) within the next year.
